My primary goal as Sheriff of Fayette County is to make our communities safer, through quality service, a dedicated staff, and community oriented projects.

It is my belief that the past year in service of our community that I have achieved what I've promised.  However I will continue to be firm on the meth epidemic and other drug activity that has hit Fayette County.  I appreciate all of the community support my office has received.  We have to all work hard together to combat this problem.

I believe strongly in a proactive approach to public safety services. My belief is one of having the vision to see a problem on the horizon and investing resources in the beginning to ensure that the problem does not become repetitive in our communities. The proactive approach is effective but it requires your understanding that the investment made early may not produce immediate results but is the most effective way to produce positive results in the long run.

I feel that our drug education program is very effective and will continue to become even better in the future.  I have implemented the program in our community churches and will bring it to the classrooms for our children very soon.
